There are three individual projects in each of the five research WPs. All ESRs, except those recruited by Prague as their first university, will be seconded to Prague to participate in the Induction Programme (see above).

The individual projects below include general PhD thesis titles, which will be finalized as research on the project is under way. Two of the supervisors (one male [m], one female [f]) are indicated in the Description of research and training work packages.

These allocations will be finalized once candidates have been recruited. A third or fourth supervisor (see above) will then be nominated, ensuring interdisciplinary representation and gender balance on all supervisory teams.

Each individual research project is hosted by two MOVES universities and includes a secondment at a non-academic partner. Staff from the partners indicated in the Description of research and training work packages join the supervisory teams of each ESR in an advisory capacity (if not already acting as supervisors). The preliminary results of each thesis are presented at the Summer School in month 18, the final results at the End-of-Project Conference in month 40 (each generating a research deliverable).
