Andreas Mahler teaches English Literature at Freie Universitaet Berlin. His main areas of research are: early modern epistemology, plot-making on the early modern stage, Elizabethan satire, early modern genres and London as an early modern centre. His publications include Moderne Satireforschung und elisabethanische Verssatire (1992) and edited collections on images of the city (1999) and Shakespeare’s subcultures (2002).
Andreas Mahler will co-supervise two MOVES research projects: “Functions of Travel and Types of Migration” and “Forms of Displacement in Past and Present”.
